Venture 2006 Snow Campout

The Venture crew's winder campout was at Echo Lake this year. As we skied to Echo Lake we passed cabins that were buried in snow. They made great ramps for playing on and skiing off of the roof.

Echoe lake is about 1.5 miles long. We skied out to an island near the end of the lake and camped there. The boys were desparate for warmth (strangely they thought it was cold) so they built a campfire. It was a luxury to have a campfire in the snow. Saturday was a play day and ski out to the car where we had a tailgate lunch
